Jack Haffner's Store
Jack Haffner’s Store is a new deli and convenience store, open 24-hours-a-day. It serves not only those filling their gasoline tanks or using the car washes, but also area employees and residents.
Manager Michael R. Connors of Tewksbury says the public has heartily embraced the new Route 125 establishment that features a distinctive stone and wood exterior and sports a ski lodge appearance
“It’s fast becoming a lunchtime favorite. There are a variety of hot and cold foods available from pizza and subs to the popular eight ounce Black Angus burger for only $5.49. Another half dollar adds fries, soda and a scoop of either potato macaroni salad or cole slaw,” says Connors.
Connors, who was involved in more than two dozen store openings during his 25-year tenure with another chain, says the store also offers fresh-made breakfast sandwiches, soft drinks, coffee, baked goods and a full delicatessen. Convenience store items include the usual including newspapers, bread, candy and snacks to household necessities and pet supplies. An ATM, Massachusetts lottery tickets and tobacco products will soon follow, he says.
The store’s interior is almost as unusual as its exterior. It features a large painting of a moose by family member Andrew Royce Fournier and a faux wide board woodgrain floor.
For more than 80 years, Haffner’s has been dedicated to customer satisfaction with quality service and quality products at competitive prices.
